1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SupportGroups.online (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. The Platform is operated under ExpandedAwareness.io IP Holdings, a DBA of SlateRiver LLC, a New Mexico LLC. Point of contact: MCM Enterprises.

2. Not a Clinical or Therapy Service

SupportGroups.online is a peer-support marketplace. It does not provide licensed mental health therapy, psychiatric treatment, medical advice, or crisis intervention. No facilitator-user relationship on this Platform constitutes a therapist-patient, doctor-patient, or counselor-client relationship. If you are in crisis, call 988 (US) or your local emergency number.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Users aged 13–17 may participate only in designated teen groups with verifiable parental or guardian consent. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Facilitator Relationship

Facilitators are independent service providers, not employees or agents of SupportGroups.online. The Platform facilitates discovery and payment only. SupportGroups.online does not supervise, endorse, or guarantee the quality of any facilitator or group session.

5. Payments and Revenue Share

Session payments are processed securely via Stripe. Facilitators receive 50% of each session payment; the Platform retains 50% to fund operations, tooling, and support. Prices are set by facilitators within Platform guidelines. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

6. Community Standards

Users and facilitators agree to participate respectfully and in good faith. The Platform may suspend or permanently remove any user or host who violates community guidelines, engages in harassment, discrimination, fraud, or any unlawful conduct.

7. Confidentiality

Group sessions are intended to be confidential environments. You agree not to record, distribute, or disclose the identities or statements of other participants without their express written consent.

8. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, trademarks, and design are the property of ExpandedAwareness.io IP Holdings / SlateRiver LLC. Facilitators retain ownership of their original session content. You grant the Platform a limited license to display your profile and group listings.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SupportGroups.online, ExpandedAwareness.io IP Holdings, and SlateRiver LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform or any support group session.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
