  • Profile data: optional bio, timezone, support topics of interest
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers
  • Usage data: pages visited, search queries, group bookings
  • Communications: messages sent to facilitators or support

  • To operate the Platform and process bookings
  • To match you with relevant support groups
  • To communicate account updates and newsletters (opt-out available)
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations
  • To improve Platform features and performance

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only with:

  • Stripe — for payment processing
  • Supabase — for secure database and authentication hosting
  • Facilitators — limited profile info when you book a group session
  • Law enforcement — only when legally required

5. Sensitive Information

We recognize that support group participation may involve sensitive personal information. We do not sell, rent, or disclose participation data. Group session content is intended to remain confidential between participants and facilitators.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing support@supportgroups.online. Payment records may be retained as required by law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Submit requests to support@supportgroups.online. We respond within 30 days.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to children under 13. Users aged 13–17 may only participate in designated teen groups with parental consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
